How to make a window peeper video — One photo, six steps, one stare.

You need a photo, an email address or a Google account to sign in, and enough credits for one video. Credit packs are one-time payments, not a subscription, and credits never expire.

   Pick a photo

   Open the generator on the home page and choose a photo of yourself, waist up, facing the camera, in good light. You must be 18 or older. It must be a JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB, from 240 to 8,000 pixels on each side.

2. 02

   Confirm it's OK to use

   Tick the box under the scenes to confirm the photo is of you and that you're 18 or older. Without it, the button stays off.

3. 03

   Choose Standard or Pro

   Standard costs 10 credits and is 720p. Pro costs 20 credits and is 1080p. Both make the scene you pick, about 14 seconds long.

   Sign in

   Press Make my video. If you aren't signed in, sign in with an email link or Google in the window that opens. Your photo stays picked while you do.

5. 05

   Pay if you need credits

   If your balance is short, the generator offers the packs: 10 credits for $5.90, 50 credits for $19.90, and 250 credits for $69.90. After checkout you come back to the page, and the video starts as soon as the credits arrive.

6. 06

   Wait, then download and post

   A video usually takes a few minutes. Keep the page open, and it plays there when it's ready. Download saves the MP4. Post it to TikTok with #windowpeeper, and add the trending sound in the app if you want it.

• One person only. The scene has one person at the table.
• Waist up, facing the camera, with nothing covering the face.
• Wear what you want in the video. The outfit comes from the photo.
• Use even light. Dark or backlit photos give a blurry face.
• Skip heavy filters, stickers and text on the photo.

If a video fails, or doesn't finish within 24 hours, its credits go back to your balance automatically. You don't need to contact us. If a photo is refused, try a different one; you don't lose credits for it.

If you leave the page, the video still finishes. It appears in your video library, and we email you when it's ready. For anything else, email support@windowpeeper.org.

Your photo is used only to make your video, and it is deleted about 24 hours after upload. The finished video stays in your library until you delete your account. The Privacy Policy has the details.

Only upload photos of yourself, and only if you're 18 or older. No photos of other people, children or public figures, and nothing meant to deceive, harass or frighten anyone. The trend is a joke about being watched; keep it one.
