Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of WindowPeeper (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.

The Service

WindowPeeper makes short AI videos from your photos. Its main feature is the window peeper video: you upload one photo, and an AI model makes a new scene that stars the person in it. AI results can be inaccurate or unexpected. Review every result before you publish or share it.

AI models and providers

  • Window peeper video (the home page and /en/videos/windowpeeper): Alibaba's Wan 2.7 reference-to-video model (wan2.7-r2v), at 720p for Standard videos and 1080p for Pro videos, accessed through Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Bailian / DashScope).

This model is provided by Alibaba. We use its API service to generate videos from your inputs.

AI-generated videos

Every video the Service makes is generated by AI. It shows movement that never happened. Don't present a result as real footage, and don't share it in a way that could make people believe a real person did what the video shows.

The window peeper video is generated from a written description of the scene. It doesn't use the footage or the audio of any viral video or template.

No affiliation

WindowPeeper is an independent service. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok, CapCut, any brand or artist, or the creators of any window peeper clip or template. The site names trends only to describe what the Service makes.

Your account

You sign in with an email link or with Google. Give accurate information and keep your email account secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account.

Credits and payments

  • Videos cost credits. The pricing page shows the cost of each action, and the Service shows it again before you start.
  • New accounts start with no credits.
  • You can buy one-time credit packs. Checkout shows the price. We don't sell subscriptions, and nothing renews or charges you again.
  • Waffo Pancake processes all payments as our Merchant of Record. It collects the payment and any tax that applies.
  • Credits do not expire.
  • If a generation fails, we return its credits to your balance automatically.
  • Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Billing disputes

If you think a charge is wrong, contact support@windowpeeper.org before you file a chargeback. We refund incorrect and duplicate charges in full.

Photos you may upload

Upload only photos of yourself, and only if you are 18 or older. Before you make a video, you confirm this in a consent box, and we record when you did. Don't upload photos of other people, of anyone under 18, or of public figures, and don't upload nude, sexual or intimate photos. The Service makes fixed, PG-rated comedy scenes only; it must not be used to make intimate images of anyone or videos of real people without their consent.

Your content

You keep your rights to the content you upload. You give us a license to store and process it only as needed to provide the Service. You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload.

You may use the results you generate for any lawful purpose, including commercial use. AI results may not be unique, and other users can get similar results. We do not promise that you own exclusive rights in a result, because that depends on the law where you live.

Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to create, upload or share:

  • sexual or sexually explicit content;
  • any content that sexualizes, exploits or harms minors;
  • graphic violence, or content that promotes violence or self-harm;
  • hateful content, or content that harasses, bullies or threatens others;
  • videos made from photos of anyone under 18;
  • deceptive deepfakes: content meant to make people believe a real person said or did something they didn't;
  • content that impersonates a real person, or uses their likeness or voice without their consent;
  • content that promotes illegal activity, including scams and fraud.

You also agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy and publicity rights;
  • upload content you don't have the right to use;
  • use generated results in a way that infringes anyone's rights;
  • send spam or malware through the Service;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, or try to access it in unauthorized ways;
  • copy, resell or scrape the Service.

How we enforce these rules

We and our AI providers check uploads before generation. We refuse requests that break these rules. If we find content that breaks them, we can delete it, suspend or close the account, and report it to the authorities when the law requires. We report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.

Report content

If you see a video made with the Service that breaks these rules, or that uses your likeness without your consent, report it. Email support@windowpeeper.org with "Content report" in the subject, or use the "Report abuse" link at the bottom of every page. Include a link to the content or a description of it, and the reason for the report.

We review every report and reply within 3 business days. We act faster on reports about minors. We remove reported videos that break these Terms, and we can suspend or close the account that made them.

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account on your profile page. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, and your unused credits are lost.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. We don't refund credits on an account that we close for a breach.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We may change, limit or stop features at any time.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes, governing law and disputes

We may update these Terms. If the changes are material, we will tell you by email or in the Service at least 15 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. If you have a dispute with us, contact us first so that we can try to solve it informally. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.
